Type 316 stainless steel (A4) screws are more corrosion resistant then 18-8 stainless steel, yet
have the same tensile strength and are nonmagnetic. They withstand many industrial chemicals
and solvents, even the pitting caused by chlorides and sulfides. Length is measured from under
the head.
